Dear
adopters, members and sympathizers of GINB.
As you already know, in October a new law will be brought into effect
that states that no single organization may continue to import dogs
or cats from a foreign country.
Thus, that will mean that GINB
will also have to stop its activities, which is of course unthinkable.
Not only are we the first organization on the European continent,
we are also the only organization that has, in addition to rescuing
dogs, the responsibility for the everyday care and feeding of approximately
600 dogs in Las Nieves. When they take away this responsibility
of GINB, all of these dogs will fall prey to their owners, who will
not hesitate to kill them in the cruelest manner.
Naturally, I will do everything
to prevent this from happening, and I will also do everything possible
so that GINB will be able to continue.
It will be a hard, perhaps an unequal and difficult fight -- one
thing is certain: it will be a fight that I cannot possibly win
without your help. Hereby, I send an urgent call to all people who
are favourably disposed towards our cause and want us to be able
to continue our work.
